If you are interested in getting involved in this project, please fill out one of the forms below. We are currently still in the stage of looking for writers, editors, artists, and beta readers! Please read through the questions given in each form carefully when you apply- these are all unpaid positions and volunteers will be credited. We are looking forward to working with you!
Responsible for completing one chapter each, with 1k word count minimum. Deadline of one month to complete a finished work. Creative freedom over how events are depicted; subject to editing changes.[If you are a seasoned fanfiction author and want to contribute your writing, this is the position for you!]
Responsible for the first read through of a finished chapter, catching initial formatting errors, grammatical errors, and fact checking the canon compliance with a given guide list. Oversees two chapters each; reports to an editor.[If you are interested in helping, but have limited writing expertise or time, this is the position for you!]
Responsible for managing quality of work, big-picture plot and thematic elements, and offering constructive criticism. Oversees 5 beta readers, and 10 total chapters.[If you are an experienced writer interested in a higher management role, this is the position for you!]
Responsible for creating art accompanying as many chapters of their choosing. Freedom to creatively depict events; art will be posted to our Twitter and included alongside the written work in the final novel.[If you are interested in contributing visual art, this is the position for you!]

About
This project is dedicated to transcribing the first season of the Dream SMP into written form to create a full-length fanfiction novel. This is a completely nonprofit, community-led project! Our main goal is to elevate fanfiction writers and create something for fans to enjoy and commemorate the roots of the Dream SMP. Originally began by former fandom member Panini, this project is being revived through the hard work of the management team.The finished project will have 50 chapters, promotional art for each chapter, and be organized into a polished pdf. This project has been many months in the making, and is projected to be done by the end of summer 2021.Please consider following our Twitter for updates, teasers, polls, and more community involvement!

Q: Are the content creators okay with this?
A: So far, both Wilbur and Tommy have given consent to create this project. We're making efforts to get the go ahead from as many ccs as we can.Q: Does the fanfiction cross the ccs' boundaries?
A: No, nothing in the novel will cross them. There is no shipping content in this work, nor NSFW of any kind. Here is one of many threads of the Dream SMP members' boundaries.Q: What happened to Panini?
A: Panini has unfortunately deactivated and left the Dream SMP fandom, and is no longer associated with this project.Q: How close will the novel follow canon?
A: The plot will cover every major event in the first season of the L'manberg storyline up until the finale. Minor background lore, game mechanics, and logistics have been altered to translate them into writing and flesh out the world.Q: How can I get involved?
